James is a man who just can't stop at one thing. " It must be in my blood " jokes James.
" Everything about me is multiple." Born of multiple ethnicities a caucasian mother
with an American heritage a black Canadian father with Indian heritage sprinkled with
Spanish and Irish dna. Born in Ontario raised in Nova Scotia James is a man of many
talents. A singer/songwriter, musician ( playing 6 instruments )an arranger and producer
as well as a video editor and producer and entertainer with his own multimedia
production company.
James has been singing ever since he can remember. He grew up listening to all
the old country and rock and roll songs that his father had. Although his father
never could play any musical instruments James remembers always being around
some kind of Instrument. "Dad always had some sort of instrument kicking around,
drums or guitars or organ or trumpet ". Playing music has always come easy for me.
I was always listening to music and playing my cardboard box drums. My first
instrument was a recorder from school then a plastic toy guitar one Christmas.
Then my brother gave me a old electric guitar he had. Over the years I took up
other instruments. The piano , drums, harmonica and bass guitar. I write and record
my own songs. I enjoy all styles of music which is reflected in my writing and
arranging. I just enjoy all music, anything from gospel to Blues to rockabilly
anything that has a good positive , uplifting message.
